01Challenge

A standalone website for a financial advisory arm became a unified platform for two distinct businesses after stakeholder discussions expanded the scope significantly.

02Direction

Designed an intent-first experience where users navigate based on needs rather than business entities, creating clearer journeys and stronger conversions.

03Planning

Mapped content architecture, lead generation flows, SEO opportunities, calculators, resources, and long-term scalability before development began.

04Outcome

Delivered a detailed proposal covering product strategy, infrastructure recommendations, implementation roadmap, and phased execution planning.

02Flagship Project

MITTI

Problem

Many rural homestays offer memorable travel experiences but remain difficult to discover online. Hosts often lack digital visibility while travelers struggle to find authentic stays outside mainstream platforms.

Solution

MITTI is a full-stack booking platform built specifically for rural tourism. It gives hosts a way to showcase properties online while helping travelers discover, book, and review unique stays.

Platform

The system includes dedicated experiences for travelers, hosts, and administrators, covering listings, bookings, reviews, property management, and platform moderation.

Architecture

Built using Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, Firebase Authentication, and Razorpay. The architecture focuses on scalability, maintainability, and type-safe development.

Engineering

The project involved database design, authentication flows, booking workflows, role-based access control, responsive UI development, deployment, and production-focused architecture decisions.

Outcome

MITTI became my largest academic software project and provided hands-on experience designing and building a complete full-stack application from concept to deployment.

04Open Source

Contributing beyond
my own codebase.

I started contributing to open source during GSSoC 2026 to experience software development beyond personal projects. Working inside unfamiliar codebases taught me how to navigate large repositories, collaborate with maintainers, resolve CI issues, and ship production-ready changes.
